The First Time I Made Him Buzz During a Work Call

The birthday gift was supposed to be for her husband. Somehow, it gave her permission to talk about jealousy, boundaries, fantasies, and what she wanted in bed.

I replied to his suggestions with, "Happy birthday." He wrote back, "You did not!" Oh, I did. And I had ZERO clue what that purchase would do for me.

These toys, the app features, and the community have been a game changer I didn't expect. They've led to open conversations between my husband and me, something we've historically struggled with.

But this? Discussing boundaries, jealousy, and different scenarios. Giving each other approval to let loose and have fun, as long as we share our adventures with each other. That kind of openness and acceptance hasn't happened in a LOOOONG time.

I feel like I can breathe. I'm sure he feels the same. I've been asked so many times what I like and what turns me on, and I could never answer. I was so locked down by baggage, stress, and responsibilities. Part of me feels like that lock has finally been picked and tossed into the sea.

I feel like I have room to figure out what I do like, and enough safety to say, "Meh, that didn't really do it for me," or, "OH, I want more!" My responses are being heard and supported, and I'm trying my best to return the favor.
